Alternative Energy Companies Developing Pellet PressesSourcing other forms of energy besides fossil fuels is a growing industry, and it needs to be. Our dependence of fossil fuels has led us to a point with rapid global population increase where we cannot support ourselves with enough affordable energy and fuel. There are many different types of alternative energy companies based in solar energy, wind energy, geothermal energy and biomass energy. At PelHeat, our work is primarily focused on biomass energy solutions in the form of pellets. Pellets are a solid fuel made from compressed biomass materials, most commonly wood. Now there are various alternative energy companies in the pellet industry from those who produce the pellets and equipment, to those who produce and sell pellet combustion solutions such as pellet stoves and boilers. However, there is also a growing industry in power generation using biomass, to replace coal with pellets made from wood or agricultural residues. However, currently the main focus of alternative energy companies in the pellet sector is on producing and developing fuel pellets for the generation of heat in homes with stoves and boilers. Below is a video of a wood pellet boiler here at PelHeat running on a variety of fuel pellets. At PelHeat, we help people setup their own alternative energy companies producing fuel pellets for residential or industrial customers. We provide an online consultation service on which equipment they will need the produce the pellets, and what markets those pellets can be sold to. Not every fuel pellet can be burn in every pellet stove or boiler. This is important for people to understand. We make a range of pellet presses here in the UK. We focus on the ring die design as apposed to the flat die design. We also offer a single phase small pellet press for research purposes, as well as automated pellet plants. |
