Green Renewable Energy In The Form Of PelletsGreen energy is a term used often these days, however not many people actually understand what it actually means to them and their life. For instance, they know that it means its kind to the environment, but what does that mean? Well our current sources of energy, which are predominately oil, gas and coal are not green renewable energy. The reasons for this is that they put additional carbon dioxide into the atmosphere and they are resources we cannot replace, therefore they are non renewable. By putting more carbon dioxide into the atmosphere we are increasing global warming and climate change. We therefore need to use sources of energy which do not impact on global warming by producing no carbon emissions, been carbon neutral or if possible been carbon negative. Biomass which is resources such as wood and grasses are carbon neutral if used properly and can even be carbon negative with certain activities. Examples of biomass fuel are fuel pellets made from wood and other biomass materials. Please see the video below for an example of a wood pellet boiler burning these various fuel pellets. At PelHeat we help to educate people on the pellet fuel production process, how each material has its own characteristics and limitations. For instance producing pellets from low density biomass such as straws and grasses is much easier than trying to make pellets from higher density biomass such as wood, however not many people know this. This then leads to some people purchasing the wrong pellet mill for their chosen raw material. The wood pellet production guide and the PelHeat consultation service helps people avoid these issues and others. We also offer our own range of pellet production equipment, such as the mini wood pellet maker. |
