Quality Ring Die Pellet Mills Made In The UK

Purchasing a pellet mill is a serious decision to make. When it comes to how much you should expect to pay for a pellet mill it should be based on what you should expect to get from that pellet mill. Not all pellet press are that capable.

For instance you could easily purchase a pellet machine for a few hundred dollars from China or from one of their many importers. Likewise we could also easily import Chinese pellet mills and sell them much cheaper than our current equipment and make a larger profit margin. The reasons we do not do this is these products will damage our business and brand. A low quality pellet mill will produce low quality pellets. It will also have a much shorter operating life and consume more power per ton of pellets produced. Therefore at PelHeat we choose to only promote quality UK made ring die pellet mills and complete pellet plants. The ring die pellet mill is a much more efficient design of pellet press. Due to reduced component resistance more of the energy is used to actually force the material through the die. One argument used by flat die pellet mill manufacturers is that flat die pellet mills can process hard to pellet materials due to the gravity fed design. However the ring die pellet mills used in our UK made pellet plants also use this design. Therefore these pellet plants have the benefits of a gravity fed design and none of the negatives of a flat die pellet mill such as low electrical efficiency and high consumable parts wear. The life span of these UK made products has also been proven, with a working like of some of these pellets for over 50 years.
