Quality Small Pellet Plants Made In The United KingdomThe demand for wood pellets and fuel pellets in general is set for new record highs over the next few years. For example in the UK the renewable heat incentive has recently been launched. This means that in 2013 home owners will be able to collect money from the government to pay for the cost of their heating pellets. With this growth there is obviously a greater need for a supply of pellets, and that means more pellet plants need to be setup. Now the general industry rule is larger is better. To make the process more efficient scaling up to a larger capacity means lower production costs per ton. Now this is true, and at PelHeat we can help you with any scale of pellet production. However small scale pellet plants should not be discounted. While operating costs of the smaller pellet plants are more expensive, there are also reductions in costs. For instance, if there is a local supply of materials and a local demand it makes far more sense for a pellet plant designed to process that material locally. That generally means a fairly small pellet plant. This is called a local energy loop, which also generates more local jobs. There are many different fuel pellets which can be made. Please see the videos through the link below for example of various pellets. At PelHeat we educate people on making pellets and help with pellet production solutions from the home up to very large scale installations. We have also produced a free beginners guide to help you understand what making quality pellets is all about. This guide will show you various designs of pellet mill. To pick up a copy of the guide simply click the link below and enter you details on the next page. You will also see a video where we explain exactly how our small pellet plans operate. They are highly automated to reduced operating costs. |
